Greg Whitten

Administrator

Greg Whitten has been an administrator in long term care for over 20 years and is currently the Administrator/ co-owner at Rising Star Nursing and Rehab. He has been at Rising Star since April of 2012, and has been involved in ownership since October of 2012. He graduated in 1994 from Texas State University in San Marcos with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Healthcare Professions in Healthcare Administration. He has served in many capacities in the nursing home industry throughout his career, including financial oversight, new construction, marketing and promotions including Health Fairs, Senior Olympics, American Cancer Society Relay for Life, and 5K runs for local charities. Always active in the community, Greg has participated in Kiwanis, Rotary, and Chamber of Commerce. He and his wife Sandra have a daughter who recently graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos. Greg was raised in a small country town and enjoys the quiet life and great people of Rising Star, Cross Plains and the surrounding areas we serve.

Sandra Whitten

Food and Nutrition Services Supervisor

Sandra Whitten is our Food and Nutrition Services Supervisor. She has been employed at Rising Star Nursing and Rehab since October, 2012, having worked in various positions, including Business Office Manager and Human Resources Director. Currently, Sandra assists with HR, payroll and many other functions and is enrolled in the Nutrition and Foodservice Professional Training Program to become a Certified Dietary Manager. She is married to Greg Whitten and they have one daughter, Ashlee, who is enrolled at Texas State University in San Marcos.

Terri Hamilton, RN, LBSW

Assistant Director of Nursing
Social Services Director

Terri began her professional career as a Petroleum Engineer before finding her passion in healthcare. She has been an Registered Nurse for 25 years and a Licensed Social Worker for 14 years. Terri has been employed here for over three years. She is a devoted Christian and loves following in her grandmother's footsteps with gardening, baking, and canning. Terri loves caring for "her little piece of Texas dirt", her array of farm animals, and her three spoiled dogs. She stays busy with her three foster children who are the joy of her world.

Cathy McMillian, CNA AD

Life Enrichment Coordinator

Cathy McMillian is our Life Enrichment Coordinator. She has been the Activity Director/ Life Enrichment Coordinator for three months now. Before that, she was a certified nurse aide for two years. Prior to working here, Cathy worked as a Home Health Care Aide for 3 years. Currently, she resides at lake Brownwood with her husband Bruce of 14 years. She has 3 Kids; Will, Kara, & Chad, and 3 grandkids; Austin, Kadence, & Kota. She enjoys spending time with her grandkids, golf cart rides and visiting with friends at her firepit. She likes to camp, swim, Kayak and loves living at the lake. Cathy truly enjoys making our residents smile and laugh and enjoy life.

Sabrina Vincent

Business Office Assistant

Sabrina Vincent is the Business Office Assistant and has been employed since January of 2020. She wears many hats and assists in resident medical transportation, dietary food ordering and delivery, human resources and Medicaid Applications. Sabrina also assist the resident with shopping and personal support as needed. Her and her husband Reuben reside in the May area. They have a daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoys nature, watching wildlife and growing numerous flowers and plants.Sabrina Vincent is the Business Office Assistant and has been employed since January of 2020. Guyle P. Donham, D.O.

Medical Director

Guyle P. Donham, DO, is our Medical Director. He specializes in family practice with his offices at the Comanche Count Medical Center. His Bachelor’s Degree was earned while attending Baylor University in Waco, Texas. After graduation he earned his medical degree from the University Of Health Science College Of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri. His residency was completed in Corpus Christi. Dr. Donham is a member of Sigma Signa Phi and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and is Board Certified in Family Practice. Dr. Donham grew up in May, Texas and currently resides in Stephenville, Texas with his wife, Rachelle and two boys, Ryan and Rhett. He enjoys camping, farming organic peanuts, scuba diving and watching sports, particularly cheering for the Baylor Bears. On a typical weekend Dr. Donham is farming, working, traveling, or going to his sons events.

Dr. Donham has been practicing as a family physician at Comanche County Medical Center for over 9 years.

Molly Brooks Gray, D.O., M.S.

Molly Brooks Gray, DO, MS has been practicing Family Medicine since 2011 in De Leon and Brownwood. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr Gray completed a residency in Family Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Parkland - Dallas in 2011. She received a Doctor of Osteopathy in 2008 from Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth. She has a Master in Clinical Research Management from UNTHSC and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Texas Christian University. Dr Gray resides near Comanche with her husband, Alan and has 4 adult children. She has 8 and counting grandchildren. She enjoys volunteering, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
